Enniskillen Advertiser 28 May 1874:

Trades’ Unions in Enniskillen – A row, which might have been serious had it not been speedily suppressed by the police, occurred in this town on Sunday night. Most of the actors in the quarrel were tailors, who, it appears, wished to chastise some fellow-labourers, on account of their refusal to join the tailors’ society, as well as for working longer hours than those prescribed by the union.
