Scottish Co-operative Wholesale Society

The Scottish Wholesale Coo-operative Society was established in Enniskillen in May 1895. Its first premises was in Brook Street.

It later expanded and built larger premises on Henry Street/ Sligo Rd, Enniskillen where this photo was taken.

The workers in the Co-op were in the main members of the Amalgamated Transport and General Workers Union (ATGWU) and the Union of Distributive and Allied Workers (USDAW).
